For those who may not know, here is a brief note on some M3 vs M2 generational differences: M3 has a more reliable follower design, has dot matrix for labeling your mags, and is redesigned to prevent over-insertion during aggressive reloads. Overall, you get significantly improved functionality for very little additional cost.

Please note that these are in Magpul’s updated (much stronger) MCT polymer. Magpul was having issues with the original FDE color and switched to a new polymer for higher reliability. MCT is slightly darker than the original FDE color, but MCT is very strong. Testing showed the new blend is even stronger than Magpul’s Black polymer.
