If you select the e-transfer payment option, please read the payment instructions carefully and do ensure you make payment promptly. If an order is submitted but payment has not been received within 24h, we will cancel the order. The only exception(s) to this are if Parts Only Canada reaches out to the purchaser by email and advises different (longer) terms. Any agreement of this sort must be clearly documented by email exchange. For example: If you place an order on Sunday afternoon and we have not received payment by end of day on Monday, your order will be canceled unless we have advised you otherwise.
Parts Only Canada may sometimes ask for proof of government-issued photo ID at it’s discretion. We do not store customer’s ID in any area other than company controlled email inbox and do not otherwise keep physical or digital records of these IDs after they are verified. We do our very best to keep all customers’ information private, but will not be held liable for any damages resulting from compromised email security or email interaction regardless of the origin of the security breach.
In the event that ID is necessary, orders will be held for a reasonable amount of time while waiting for the customer to reply.
The most common reasons we may ask for ID are:
– Shipping and billing address mismatch (such as someone who’s billing address is in QC but wishes to have a parcel shipped to MB)
– Orders of unusual frequency or size, or both
– Suspicious behavior during the order process (such as placing multiple orders where payment fails prior to a successful order/payment)
– ID may be requested in any situation where it is deemed reasonable by the company
Failure to provide ID when requested will result in cancellation of the associated order. ID will be verified at Parts Only Canada’s discretion. If the ID provided is invalid or otherwise suspicious, the order will be cancelled. A restocking fee will not apply since the order will not have been packed prior to ID verification.
Please ensure that all orders are correct BEFORE paying. Once an order has been submitted and paid for, it cannot be edited. It can only either be cancelled or be fulfilled. We try to process orders promptly to satisfy our customers. If a customer requests cancellation of an order that is already being processed, a 10% restocking fee will apply. The restocking/processing fee will be deducted from the total refund. This fee is calculated using the before tax/before shipping total. The reason a fee is needed is because it takes time to pick orders and pack them, and then have to unpack and restock the inventory. Additionally, we pay processing fees on all card transactions.
If your order has a tracking number, it is too late to cancel it. Should you not want the items, your order must be processed as a return once you receive it.
